Right when the Green Wave thought they could get back in the game while trailing just by one score about to go into halftime, freshman Wildcat quarterback Genia Fuss killed all hopes with a touchdown bomb to Dakota Justus with time expiring in the half. The Cats kept pounding Mattoon with a 34-6 win. The freshman finished the season 6-3.
