West jumped out to a 41-13 lead, scoring 5 TDs on its first 6 drives, to lead over the visiting Rock Island Rocks. They held off a 2 TD 3rd quarter push by the Rocks to a final win of 54 – 28.  Two big defensive turnovers aided the victory and an offensive night of 498 yards passing & rushing.  The Wildcats advance to the 2nd round of the IHSA with a 10 & 0 record.
