The varsity football team battled hard against Decatur MacArthur, but they could not contain Ladarion Shelby as Shelby rushed for 314 yards and three touchdowns to lead the visiting Generals to a 37-33 win.  Wildcat running back Jamarr Simon rushed for 181 yards and one touchdown on 16 carries, and quarterback Tyler Marcordes passed for 151 yards including two touchdown passes to Austin Stewart.  Marcordes also rushed for a touchdown.  Matt Barnet added two field goals.  The Wildcats fall to 1-2 on the season and will visit Danville next Friday.
