Freshman Football update

 

Wednesday—We are going to move practice back a half hour to 3:30 till 5:30 so coaches can get there after school meetings.

Friday—We are going to practice after school at 3:00. We have pictures at 4:30. They will have to have their uniforms and picture packets with money in hand. We will then have time for a small snack. We will teach them their pregame routine. We will scrimmage on the game field at about 5:45. Our scrimmage will last between 30 and 45 minutes. After are portion of the scrimmage the boys will be asked to stay and watch/support the varsity until 8:30. There is a pork chop dinner available from the Gridiron Club. Boys should bring money for the food they want.

Saturday—Practice will be at Coach Wiltz’s farm/pond in Lexington. Players will be getting a permission form early this week. We will need parents to help carpool out on Saturday morning. The caravan will leave the back of the High School at 9:30 and return around 2:30. We have 67 players currently so please sign up to drive. Maps will be available and GPS is not a bad idea if you have it. It will take about 25 minutes one way.

We do plan on providing lunch and purchasing some additional items for the event. We are asking for $5 per player to cover our costs. Please let us know if you cannot afford it. We will make it work. We want everybody to be a part of this event.
