The varsity football team overcame a slow start in the first half and defeated host Decatur Eisenhower by the score of 34-7 on Friday night. Jamarr Simon rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Wildcats. Simon also had a 68-yard interception return for a touchdown, and Ryne Reynolds returned a punt 47 yards for a touchdown. The Wildcats are now 1-1 on the season and will take on Decatur MacArthur next Friday night at Normal West.
